After watching countless brides walk out of the Fleur de Lys Bridal boutique with their dream wedding gown, it was our very own Laura’s time to have her special moment. On 30 June 2016, Ms Laura Franklin became Mrs Laura Westwood after an intimate wedding with her now husband, Mark Westwood, in London’s Mayfair.

Having decided on two stunning designer wedding dresses, Laura wore a vintage inspired beaded chiffon dress for the wedding ceremony, surrounded by their family and friends. After the ceremony was complete, the wedding party celebrated with champagne and canapes at nearby Claridge’s followed by supper at Langan’s Brasserie before the couple headed off to spend the night in the luxury bridal suite at Claridge’s.

Continuing the celebrations on 2nd July, Laura chose the exquisite 5618 by Stella York in off-white for the newlywed’s black-tie reception where more friends and family joined to celebrate the couple’s new life together. Music was provided by House of Angels and photography was by The Wedding Guide’s resident photographer, Stephen Richardson.

Two days later, the new Mr and Mrs Westwood departed to Mallorca for their ten-day honeymoon where they enjoyed their time together as a married couple for the first time, travelling around the north and west coast of the island sampling boutique hotels and cocktails along the way.

Everyone at Fleur de Lys Bridal would love to send our congratulations and best wishes to Laura and Mark, and for their future together in their married life.
