2015 on-trend wedding gowns

Summer 2014 may have only just begun, but thousands of brides around the country are preparing for their up and coming 2015 wedding. And unless you already have your dress mentally chosen some guidance as to what is going to be on trend next year may be what you’re after. So why take a chance when you can be ahead of the game with the following 5 trends that dominated the spring 2015 bridal runways?

1. ‘Cream of the crop’
Shoulders and backs have had their day in the sun, now comes the time of the midriff. These two-piece wedding outfits are feminine yet modern with the crop tops adding a cool edge to the look accompanied by a full-length skirt adding a flirty and romantic look.

2.  ‘Silver fox’
Gold has ruled the metallic look in the bridal world for a while now, but this season is seeing the entrance of silver. Adding a shimmering look to the traditional white bridal design, the precious metal makes for an individual bridal look.

3. Naked lace
Lace has been on trend for years now, but the new way to wear it is over a skin coloured slip. The effect is a romantic but also sexy look that will remain in everyone’s memory.

4. ‘Caped beauty’
Capes are said to be the rage come 2015 as they prove to be modern, incredibly stylish whilst providing extra coverage.  Varying from being either: short and falling around the chest, back and shoulders, to longer sleeves crafted to look like capes.

5. Extra Accessories
Don’t be afraid to be bold next season, accessories are getting bigger. Veils still remain the accessory for most brides to have but why not stand out even more with larger than life earrings, necklaces that dangle at the back for dramatic effect, alluring headbands, and even overstated gloves.
